Minimum Matriculation, Maximum 10+2, from a recognized Board of School Education/Institution.

Ex-servicemen can deduct their service period from actual age, provided the resultant age doesn’t exceed the limit by more than 3 years. Note: PwBD candidates are not eligible for this post.

Candidates must be domicile holders of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir with a valid Domicile Certificate on or before the cut-off date (25 August 2026).

Selection Process: 3 Stages

1. Written Examination

Objective type MCQs in English, with negative marking of ¼ mark per wrong answer.

2. Physical Standard Test (PST) — Qualifying only

Candidates are shortlisted for PST at 6 times the number of vacancies per category, based on written test merit.
