Qualification needed
For Draftsman (Civil):
A two-year Draftsman Training Course Certificate or Diploma from any government-recognized institute.
For Works Supervisor:
Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent, plus an ITI Certificate in Building Construction or Carpentry Trade. Note — this ITI certificate has to be from either JKBOTE (Jammu and Kashmir Board of Technical Education) or the Director General of Training, Government of India. Certificates from anywhere else won’t count.

How selection works

Special provision for candidates with disabilities
If you have a Benchmark Disability that affects your writing ability, you can request a scribe and/or extra time (20 minutes per hour of exam) — but you’ll need to arrange your own scribe and submit a medical certificate plus an undertaking (the exact formats are in the official notification as Annexure-B and Annexure-C). A few conditions apply — the scribe can’t be someone from your own exam, can’t be a relative, and must have lower qualifications than what’s required for your post.

A few things worth knowing
- Only one application per post is allowed — multiple entries can get you disqualified.
